You cannot find this cheese in the states, and it’s not sold in stores in Rio (that I could find). However, for intrepid travelers coming South, Minas Gerais is a lovely part of Brazil; make a note to look for some “requeijão de raspa panela,” pronounced hay-kay-joan day hasp-a pan-ella. And enjoy.
