“The WNC Cheese trail is a cooperative effort by local cheese producers to promote the cheese industry and encourage cheese tourism (arguably the best kind). Jennifer Perkins of Looking Glass Creamery in Fairview helped kick-start the trail effort last year, and she said a printed map (with a digital counterpart) should be released this spring.

Perkins said Looking Glass is also putting the finishing touches on a cheese-tasting and retail room, where cheese lovers may while away the afternoon on one of the picnic tables installed for full-blown cheese binges.”

Salutation Recipes

I'm trying to keep a log of all the things we cook which taste really lovely. You know what it's like: you tweak and tweak a recipe until it's barely recognisable and then wonder how you used to make it. And it will also save a lot of time and bits of paper when it comes to sharing those recipes with friends.
