New investor group backs pioneering North Coast cheesemaker (Bodega, CA)

“Patty Karlin’s Bodega Artisan Cheese for nearly 30 years has helped put the North Coast on the map for handcrafted quality foods, but when faced with mounting costs of  PattyKarlin_nuzzles-goatkeeping her small-scale goat dairy in business, she turned to a startup funder of artisan food startups to take her products to a wider market.

In early March, she signed a deal with Artisan Angels (artisanangels.com), a Santa Rosa-based group with two dozen accredited investors currently, to sell a half-stake in the company, with the other half set to transfer in mid-September.”

Salutation Recipes

I'm trying to keep a log of all the things we cook which taste really lovely. You know what it's like: you tweak and tweak a recipe until it's barely recognisable and then wonder how you used to make it. And it will also save a lot of time and bits of paper when it comes to sharing those recipes with friends.
