UK cheesemaker to use Nissan LEAF in quest for carbon neutrality

A Kent based cheesemaker’s quest to turn his business totally carbon neutral has been made possible by Nissan.

The UK’s first carbon neutral cheese production has began at Winterdale cheese factory, made possible by completing deliveries in a renewably powered 100% electric Nissan LEAF.

Not only does the LEAF produce zero tailpipe emissions, the electricity used to charge its batteries comes from photo-voltaic (PV) solar panels installed at the dairy farm. Winterdale cheese is now delivered to customers including Fortnum & Mason, The Goring and Biddenden Vineyard in a fully sustainable, zero emission manner.

Salutation Recipes

I'm trying to keep a log of all the things we cook which taste really lovely. You know what it's like: you tweak and tweak a recipe until it's barely recognisable and then wonder how you used to make it. And it will also save a lot of time and bits of paper when it comes to sharing those recipes with friends.
