Arethusa Farm in Litchfield was recently awarded second place in the open category for soft farmstead cheeses for its Camembert cheese by the American Cheese Society.
Chris Casiello, former Reddingite and Arethusa’s dairy production manager, said being a young dairy, the award is “exciting” and shows that the farm’s dairy plant is going in the right direction.
